Peter Liddicoat started his career as an audio technician in 1982, before moving to video in 1987 when he studied broadcast camera operations at TAFE. After working for some of Perth’s premier audiovisual companies – including Corporate Theatre Productions and Gearhouse – he established Visual Reality in 2001. Peter has extensive experience as a lighting cameraman and editor and is recognised as being amongst Perth’s most experienced and creative directors. A true visual artist, Peter is meticulous in ensuring that the scene is properly arranged and lit before a single frame of video is shot. He has a passion for his work and this reflects in everything he does.
Why Video Production?
The cost of video production has tumbled in the past few years just as the ability to communicate using video has grown rapidly through the internet.
A great video production conveys information clearly, quickly and in an entertaining fashion. Compared to print based media, a video production can be easily updated and re-edited to target a different audience.
These elements combined mean video production is now a cost effective communications resource for any business to use.
What We Do - Our Video Production Services
Visual Reality Productions ensure clients take full advantage of the falling cost of video production and rising access to an online audience. We've been in business for over twelve years, but employed in the industry for a further eleven years, and bring a wealth of experience to any production or event.
We utilise different cameras for different purpose from Standard definition for multi camera concerts to Digital SLR for corporate videos. We are now one of a handful of production houses shooting in 4K Ultra HD. This is four times the resolution of the current HD.
We will also deliver your video production on the format of your choice. We can deliver your video on DVD.
blu-ray or customised USB sticks. We can also encode videos for smart phones and ipads as well as for streaming online on You Tube, Vimeo and Facebook.
Video Production: Who for?
Pretty much everyone and anyone! We're increasingly asked to produce video for all areas of 'business communication'. The majority of our work is sales promotion videos for online customers or for use by their own sales force.
